This fall participants will experience the fun of using clay to create
a variety of useful and interesting objects, utilizing various hand
building, decorating and glazing techniques.
Ongoing 5 week sessions starting September 12th.
Mondays

September 12th - October 10th
This class is for advanced art students who want to further
enhance their skills. Teacher placement is required for this class.
See the front desk if you have questions about whether this class
is appropriate for you or your child. Pencil drawing, pen & ink,
watercolor and oil paint will be used. Each month a different theme
and medium will be explored. Themes include, figure drawing, ink
& watercolor, oil painting, along with various other themes.
Supplies needed: Drawing paper set of pencils (2H, HB, 2B, 4B,
6B), kneadable eraser, and regular eraser, canvas, drawing pens. Optional:
colored pencils, pastels or crayons. Paint and brushes will be
supplied. Supply bundles can be purchased at the front desk for a
discounted price.

September 23rd -October 28th
This six week class will cover everything from still life and landscape compositions to cartoon figures. We will be working only in pen and pencil. All ages.
Tuesdays
5:00-6:00 pm
September 20th - October 25th
Offered on selected Saturday afternoons.
This workshop will include a variety of different crafts, such as: mobiles, jewelry making, homemade cards, tye dye, altered books, and weaving/basketry. Students will learn and explore about something new each week, whether it is about the function of the craft, the history of it or the new medium they are using.
